This significant festival is a nine day festival celebrated and enjoyed with full enthusiasm and dedication around the whole country. The starting first three days are totally dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga. In this duration of time the power and energy of Goddess Durga are worshipped. Every single day is devoted to her different appearance.


Now the next three days are devoted to the worship of Goddess Lakhmi to fill the void of spiritual wealth and materialistic prosperity. By doing this people can acquire all the materialistic peace and prosperity in their life.

Seventh-eighth days of this festival then dedicated to the worship of Goddess Saraswati, who is known as goddess of knowledge and art. To seek religious knowledge, prayers and different yagnas are performed.

Ninth day is the last day of Navratri festival and is also popular as Mahanavami. On this auspicious day of Navtratra, Puja of Kanya is performed in which nine girls are worshipped together.
