The village of Nepura is located between the popular towns of Rajgir and Nalanda. This village is well known for weaving. It is believed that one of the grooves among the three mango groves of the University of Nalanda are situated in this village. This village was blessed with the first preaching of Gautam Buddha. That’s why the village is known as the epicenter of the preaching of Budha. A number of people in this village follow Lord Mahavira, Lord Buddha and Sanjaya.
Popular at the University of Nalanda, this place still holds its old charm. One can observe the manuscripts of Magadhi and the dialects of Prakriti. The University of Nalanda can also be visited to check out the relics and old manuscripts which still hold the teachings of Gautam Buddha.
