Kollam: The Gods Own City in South India

There are several attractive coastal cities in the southern part of India. These places attract tourists not only from India but from abroad also. One among these places is the city named Kollam.

Kollam is a beautiful city that is situated in Kollam district in the state of Kerala in India. The city is located on the bank of River Ashtamudi. Kollam is known for its amazing beach where you can have a wonderful beach experience. On the beach you can enjoy many leisure activities like swimming and fishing.

Every year thousands of the tourists travel to Kollam to allure its beauty. Ashtamudi Lake serves as a popular picnic spot in the city where you can enjoy a perfect picnic experience. You can use flights to reach Trivandrum and Cochin airports, Kerala. You can travel to the city using the train and bus service.
