Jama Masjid, the shine of New Delhi is the Islamic style monument that is forty one metres high. This was commissioned by Shah Jahan the great Mughal Emperor, who also built the world popular Taj Mahal.
The name Jama Masjid is basically derived from Jummah, the Muslim prayer that means congregational mosque. It is a very huge mosque that can withhold nearly 25000 worshippers at a time.
